Here is a picture taken by Uncle Frank & Aunt Thelma when they visited Mischendorf in 1970.
We visited yesterday and much has changed! First we visited this house, where now lives Emma Walter. Emma is the wife of Stefan and the mother of Annaliese Halper who was our hostess for the day. She made us wonderful meals and took us to meet many family members! We also visited the cemeteries and Annaliese's vienyard. They make delicious wine and she gave us some to take with us! Annaliese's mom also made some wonderful bread that was delicious. Annaliese made a fabulous lunch and dinner _ we were so full and it was all so yummy!
Once we get all of the info together, we will update the family tree - but we have a lot of wonderful family still in Burgenland!
