Jim, Paul & Felix put the new windows in the 506 building today and they look fabulous! Now we just have to have the guy come to "box them in" with aluminum on the outside. The bathrooms are also about ready to go - we are having them drywalled this week!
The house was so drafty that we added all new windows, which really added to our budget, but I can't imagine anyone wanting to live there with those old drafty windows. The new windows will keep the heat and cold in and hopefully help keep people's energy bills down, too!
I can't wait until it's finished -- I want to out in a backyard patio area and put up a pretty iron fence out front. Perhaps even some clematis on a trellis growing up the staircase there?
