Admittedly, much about the past 10 days has been a lot like college. Getting drunk and staying out until 4am at the Gutter Bar... sleeping in and then scurrying down tot he lecture hall to make sure you don't miss a great seminar... discussing advertising 24/7 and trying to understand how we can all do 'great work'... attending parties that are like fraternity parties with millionaire budgets. You get the idea.
Being in the jury was also a highlight for me - I've met so many amazingly talented and wonderful people. Above all else, I am inspired to go back to Chicago and do great work.
This last photo is of the amazing moon view I had when walking home last night after the awards. This photo simply does not do it justice. People were actually walking along saying "is that really the moon?" Perhaps they thought it was brought here just for the festival. Who knows. But it was real, it was huge, and it was magnificent.
